REVART, being an elite magazine which set out to publish various research studies in Art Theory and Criticism as well as in Philosophy, Aesthetics and Stylistics, has become a true stimulus and catalyst for all the creative energy in the above mentioned domains. It is true that the action of approaching, selecting and dividing the information and the results of the original research in the artistic field is not an easy one. However, a wide range of important personalities, from musicologists and ethnomusicologists to theatre critics, philosophers and film critics has found REVART as the optimum frame for the expression of certain visions which had long been searching for the right to free speech.
This magazine is ready to take the initiative of enriching Romanian research in every direction which entails bringing together science and art. The future of research in this field can be already grasped through the studies offered by researchers who are, in their majority, prestigious university readers and professors.
Each issue of the magazine - which is being published in excellent conditions -  holds a different proportion between the articles and the studies related on the one hand to intensive research in  the Music and Theatre fields - be they interpretive or creative, and on the other hand to interdisciplinary ideas.  This is also the reason why REVART issues have an ever changing display, coming up with a wide range of ideas which can, in turn, generate a whole new set of possible future research topics. Thus, the magazine tends to become a set of studies which can trigger, with every new issue, new directions in the broad field of research. This is the only way in which a chain can be formed, a chain which has the power to transform itself into tradition, towards a “tomorrow” which we all think of as even more fertile and prolific. This is the sine qua non condition for progress to happen in the field of research as a science and as an art.
